A sudden mini tsunami almost completely covers a beach in Zandvoort, Holland. The big wave raised the sea level in just a few seconds and devastated everything that was in its path. Fortunately there was no need to complain about personal injury but a fair amount of material damage. This phenomenon is known as meteotsunami or meteorological tsunami and it takes place by rapid changes in the atmospheric pressure that causes the displacement of a great body of water. It usually occurs in spring when the waters in the North Sea are still cold.
